朋友的父亲替政府卫生检查工作， 是他把这项信息传开的。
他们的工作就是要检查小贩的卫生（包刮食物，环境卫生等等）。
他们发现甘蔗水是最不卫生的，它含有超标的细菌。

A friend whose father works for the government health inspection passed on his info.
Their job is to inspect all hawkers, their cooked food, their store hygiene, etc.
They found sugar cane juice has the highest content of bacteriaamong all food.
In fact, it has exceeded the set limit.

从此， 他们必须找出原因。
他们去了所有的甘蔗摊子查看小贩们怎么处理甘蔗，洗杯子与及整个过程。
可是查不出什么来。
Hence, these guys had to find out why.
They went round all sugar cane stores and watched the way the hawkers handledtheir sugar cane, wash their glasses, their entire procedure.
But they couldn't find the problem.

有一天，他们逗留直到摊子收摊，结果发现骇人的事实。
One day, they stayed till closing time and discovered some shocking facts!

每当摊主在收摊后就会用洗洁剂来洗地板。
想想，其余的甘蔗多数是竖立的放在摊子旁边，它的下部肯定是接触到地面。
甘蔗是多孔的，可想而知，甘蔗就会吸收所有周边的水。
除了肥皂水，小贩们鞋底的污物，猫的尿尿等等，都会被吸收。
到了第二天，老板就会拿那些渣成水来卖。
Whenever, the hawkers closed their stores, they would wash the floor with detergent..
As we know, the remaining sugar canes will be placed at the back of the store,vertically standing and as sugar canes are very porous, they tend to absorb whatever liquid around them.
Besides the soapy water, the dirt on hawkers' boots, cats' urine, etc, will all be absorbed??

看了这篇文章，每当我在小贩中心进食，我都会劝告我的朋友关于甘蔗水的事，我还会停止饮用我最爱的～甘蔗水。
Now, whenever I eat at a hawker centre, I would warn all my friends about thisand of course I stopped drinking my favorite sugar cane juice.

还有一个超爱喝甘蔗水的朋友，她怀孕了， 还时常喝甘蔗水。
有一天，她流产了，而且胎儿已经六、七个月。
当医生做尸检以找出胎死腹中的原因，医生发现有大量化学物质的痕迹亦出现在猫尿。
A friend, who loved sugar cane juice, was pregnant.
She was always drinking sugar cane juice.
Anyway, one day she miscarried and the fetus was already like 6 or 7 months old.
When the doctors did an autopsy to find out why all of a sudden the fetus had died inside her.
They found traces of some chemical substance, which was found in cat urine...
Large traces of it.

当它不会对成人构成危害，但对婴孩却是有毒的。
更何况胎儿？
While it would not be able to harm adults, it was extremely toxic to babies, what more a fetus?

所以他们尝试确定为何这些猫尿会出现在胎儿。
这意味着猫尿被母体吃进并消化了，不是吗？
他们得出的最逻辑结论就是小贩把甘蔗放在潮湿且肮脏的地板，而不可能假设杂散的猫尿尿在甘蔗上或其周围。
所以，下次你购买最爱的甘蔗水前，想清楚。。。
So they tried to determine how this cat urine thing could have ended up in the fetus.
This meant that it had to be digested by the mother, right?
And the only logical conclusion they could come up with was that since these sugar cane juice stallholders just leave the canes lying around on the wet and dirty floor,it would not be impossible to think that stray cats could have peed on those sugar canes or near those sugar canes.
So think carefully the next time you order that favorite sugar cane juice!

朋友手拿一份報紙，說讓我做一個小小的測驗，我欣然同意了。

問題一：

如果你知道有一個女人懷孕了，她已經生了八個小孩，其中有三個耳朵聾、兩個眼睛瞎、一個智能不足， 而這女人自己又患有梅毒，請問，你會建議她墮胎嗎？

我剛要回答，朋友制止了我，又問我第二個問題。

問題二：

現在要選舉一名領袖，而你這一票很關鍵。

下面是關於這三位候選人的一些事實：

候選人A：跟一些不誠實的政客有往來，而且會咨詢占星學家。

他有婚外情，是一個老煙槍，每天喝8─10杯的馬丁尼。

候選人B： 他過去有兩次被解雇的記錄，睡覺睡到中午才起來，大學時吸過鴉片，而且每天傍晚會喝一夸特的威士忌。

候選人C：他是一位受勛的戰爭英雄，素食主義者，不抽煙，只偶爾喝一點啤酒。

從沒有發生過婚外情。

請問你會在這些候選人中選哪一個？

朋友讓我把答案寫在紙上,然後告訴我說:

候選人A是：富蘭克林•羅斯福，美国第32任总统富兰克林·D·罗斯福(Franklin D. Roosevelt)(1882.1.30—1945.4.12)，一直被视为美国历史上最伟大的总统之一，是20世纪美国最孚众望和受爱戴的总统，也是美国历史上惟一连任4届总统的人，从1933年3月起，直到1945年4月去世时为止，任职长达12年。

曾赢得美国民众长达7周的高支持率，创下历史记录。

候選人B是：溫斯頓•邱吉爾，温斯顿·伦纳德·斯宾塞·丘吉尔爵士（Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill），1874年11月30日—1965年1月24日），政治家、演说家及作家以及记者，1953年诺贝尔文学奖得主，曾于1940－1945年及1951－1955年期间两度任英国首相，被认为是20世纪最重要的政治领袖之一，带领英国获得第二次世界大战的胜利。

候選人C是：亞道夫•希特勒。阿道夫·希特勒（Adolf Hitler)（1889年4月20日黄昏—1945年4月30日下午3时30分），生于巴伐利亚和奥地利的边界城市布劳瑙（Braunau am Inn，林茨，莱茵河上的Braunau），卒于柏林。

希特勒是德国国家社会主义工人党即纳粹党的总裁和德意志第三帝国的元首，德意志第三帝国元首兼总理，第二次世界大战的头号战犯。

同时,他也是一个出色的演讲家,残酷的政治家和过于冒险的军事家,以及野心家,阴谋家.早年曾因暴动入狱，并在狱中写下《我的奋斗》一书，表达出他多方面的观点，如兼并奥地利，反犹和独裁。

1933年1月30日出任德国总理；通过"国会纵火案"打击异己党派。

1934年8月1日德国总统兴登堡病逝，希特勒兼任德国总统，并将总统与总理两个职务合二为一，拥有无限的权力，并命令所有军队以及法官和政府官员向他宣誓效忠。

我聽了答案驚訝地張大了嘴巴。

朋友表情凝重地問我：

你是不是為世界人民選擇了希特勒？

那你會建議這位婦女墮胎嗎？

我說：這個問題不用考慮，我們受計劃生育優生優育教育多年了，都生那麼多歪瓜劣棗了，就別再添亂了。

當然墮胎啊。

朋友說：你殺了貝多芬，她是貝多芬的母親。

我又一次吃驚地張大了嘴巴。

朋友說：嚇一跳吧？

本來你認為很好很人道主義的答案，結果卻扼殺了貝多芬、創造了希特勒？

最後朋友總結道：所以不要用既定的價值觀來思考事物。

我抓過朋友手中的報紙，原來真是一個測驗題，題目是《你的決定滅了誰》。

重要的是，不是我們在哪，而是我們要往哪走. . .

I hate when my house doesn't have line...

I hate when assignment deadline is around the corner, still my groupmates can go shopping...

I hate when my hardwork didn't sleep for few days can get a C when those who have preety face can get a B plus some more get an A...

I hate when my groupmates likes to drag things out then blame it's my fault giving tension...

I hate when the lecturers and tutors said "we must think ahead and out of the box", let them check, complaining that we are out of our mind, too creative...

Yalah, you're the boss la!!!

Yalah, I'm horrible la, so what, don't group with me la, smart allect!!!

Yalah, people with preety face and a little acting can sell yourself la, people talk fluently, acsy la!!!

Yalah, too much work for you la, don't do lo, get an F la, talk like crap!!!

Yalah, too creative la, stay in a hole la, you won't see anything that is out of your freaking mind la!!!

Piss out, anything is our fault, don't wanna be a leader, put me in, then complaining I'm this, I'm that, shut up la, you're that almighty then you be the leader!!!

Waste my life source, energy, and breathe talking to them, I wanna go out, SHOPPING!!!
